Having waited seven days sines I ventured to cable you, the Sed inst,, the Texas Company's request for an authoritative denial of the Hongkong statement concerning my Company, which statement debara it from further handling that Oompany's business, (thus allowing the Texas Company to cancel ita contract with my Company), the Company asked me again for this denial or to at least elicit for it the so far unex- plained reasons of this changed attitude on the part of the Hong kong Governor. These reasons the Texas Company thinks it ought to have in jus- tion to my Company and its faithful services in the interests of the Texas business.

I therefore telegraphed you again yesterday as follows: "Yours yesterday regarding Hongkong Dil meiness, respectfully submit that irrefutable written evidence show nobody but Reiss and Bank made the proposals now before Governor, you mention, and caused (a) complete reversal Governor's favorable attitude as defined your
